After eight years as Head of Design at Plume (Series B to unicorn), I ran Full Node Design as a solo studio: brand identity, product design, web, motion, and photography for Bitcoin companies and projects. Product + brand as one system — not a deck and a separate site later. A short studio chapter; portfolio experiments doubled as workflow R&D.
Generative exploration for brand worlds, rapid prototyping in Figma, Cursor-adjacent AI-builder loops, Claude-class passes on copy and component variants. A solo studio only ships at quality when the design engine is peer-ready even if the peer is an agent.
When brand tokens or campaign calendars change, automations fire downstream: site modules, social kits, and motion stills regenerate on-brand from a shared component library. Peers (clients, contractors, future eng) connect to the same Figma design engine — tokens + components + agent prompts — without reinventing the visual language each engagement.
That practice led into Cognichip as Head of Design — the first designer — where the same AI-builder / design-system muscle now runs on chip collaboration surfaces. Studio craft bench and agent-summoned UI that stays on-brand are continuous: generative AI, Figma component libraries, Cursor/Claude iteration, automations across brand → web → motion.
